This is a small wallet for cards and coins.
There is a small compartment for coins, as well as compartments and side pockets for cards.

The leather on the wallet is grained and therefore has structure. It is sewn in the same leather as the Ella bag and the Kitul bag, which is why they are a super match.

The wallet is made by our partner in India.
The factory is SA-8000 certified. The certification is one of the most recognized international standards for social responsibility.

Leather & care

The leather: This product is sewn in eco-friendly leather. This means that you get a product which is free of chromium, heavy metals, formaldehyde, chlorinated paraffins and azo dyes.
Patina: The brown leather will get patina and become a little darker and less "perfect" in it's appearance through time. The black leather will also get patina, but maintain its present black color.
The patina comes automatically with use, rain, sunscreen and whatever else a bag is exposed to.
Care: The wallet can be used as it is. This will give a quicker patina.
If you instead wish to protect the wallet against dirt, liquids and stains, it is a good idea to impregnate (spray) it before use. Though, the patina can not be avoided throughout the years - this is the charm of leather and makes your wallet unique.
NOTE: Impregnation can give the leather a different feel. Always test on the back first.

Small leather purse for cards and coins

This is a small purse for cards and coins. Due to the size, the purse can also be called a card holder with a zipper.

The outer zipper ensures that your cards and coins and other important belongings do not smoke out.
Inside the purse there are several compartments. In addition to the larger open compartments, this soft leather wallet has an inside side pocket for your cards. In addition, there is a room in the middle where e.g. coins can be stored.

The Tiwi purse in mini is perfect for you who are looking for a small men's purse or women's purse. The Tiwi mini can be both in the trouser pocket and in a small shoulder bag. It is also designed in a neutral look. Therefore, I think this purse can be a purse for both men and women.

Light brown wallet in leather

It is sewn in soft, "grained" quality leather. The surface feels soft and ruffled. A leather wallet like this develops a nice patina over time, and therefore only gets more beautiful with age.

Small wallet, Tiwi mini - About the name

This small purse is named after a small beach in Kenya - approximately 17 km south of the port city of Mombasa. My Christmas 2015 was spent at this beach with my family.

About our hotel at Tiwi beach as this leather purse is named after

We arrived a few days before Christmas, and checked into what was supposed to be a hotel - according to my creative mother. The small dilapidated concrete huts that she had booked from home had both a bed, a toilet and a door. It was of course just a minor detail that the water taps were so old that the water could barely reach our cabin, that the bed frames could be felt through the mattress and that the door could not be closed. Fortunately, there was a restaurant with a few plastic chairs where we could order just the seafood we wanted from the kitchen mom - they just went down and caught it afterwards :-)
As you might imagine, some meals took longer to prepare than others. All in all, a… experience-rich place.

The beach

The cabins were on a cliff right down to the beach, which we had to ourselves. There was not a single tourist who had found his way to the fine beach. Or at least it was when there was water; the tide was so violent that all the water during the day had receded approximately 1km. To get out to the deep water numerous dead corals had to be passed, and at the edge where the water became deep there were sharp rocks and a strong current. So there wasn't much bathing either.
One afternoon, however, the water was deep right at the beach, so of course I happily ran in the water - but the pleasure was short-lived when I suddenly stepped on a sea urchin, and had to spend the evening pulling spikes out of its foot. Ew!

Christmas Eve 2015

You might think that we spent Christmas Eve on the plastic chairs in the picture. But we didn't!
On the 24th we went to the nearest big hotel and had a huge buffet. It was a luxurious evening with toilets that could flush and doors that could be closed, as well as lots of African music and dancing.
As you may have sensed, I was not enthusiastic about either the water or our so-called "hotel". But it was a great experience to be there, and I am eternally grateful that my parents always give me one on the experience!
Tiwi beach will soon be forgotten... I must also reveal that these delicious pictures, is not the whole truth!
