This is a stylish smaller black leather crossover bag.
The bag has a large compartment with a zipper, as well as an inner pocket with a zipper.
The strap can be both adjusted and removed, so the bag can be used as a clutch.

There is typically room for a wallet, mobile phone, keys and a few other small items.

Where is the bag sewn?

The bag is sewn by our partner in India.
In fact, this factory was among my first collaborators, so I have been getting styles from here since 2015.
The factory follows SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit), which is a collection of ethical "best practices". Here you look at general responsible business practices in relation to health, ethics, safety etc. This is a good way for the factory to keep up to date on everything from international requirements for increased transparency to fair business conditions.

Care & patina

Care: The bag can be used as is. If the leather appears dry over time, you can give it leather fat without color (note: leather fat can rub off on clothes if it's humid weather/not completely dried).
The bag is slightly dirt-repellent, but if you want a more repellent surface, it can be impregnated with a spray. Impregnation can give the leather a slightly different feel, as it is an extra "layer" on the leather - always test on the back side first.
Patina: The leather will patina over time. Areas with a lot of wear, e.g. the back, may become a notch darker/deeper in tone
The patina comes automatically with use, rain, sunscreen and whatever else a bag is exposed to.

The Cala Millor bag is a black shoulder bag with a nice Nordic design. It is minimalist and raw, but at the same time super feminine. The leather bag is not least super practical.

Small shoulder bag - a smart design

Black shoulder bag, Cala Millor - About the name

A black shoulder bag named after the beautiful area of Cala Millor in Mallorca? It may not make immediate sense.
But don't worry, as with all MicMic's other items, there is actually an explanation. I was at Cala Millor with my sweet girlfriend in July 2016. We had long talked about going on a short holiday over the summer if the weather in Denmark was bad. And guess what! Thats it!
That the trip went to Mallorca was a bit accidental. We were just two weeks before departure looking for good deals when we came across Cala Millor.

Cala Millor

It turned out to be the perfect place for us! It was a classic, quiet seaside resort and for that reason, we probably didn't get the whole big thing done. But we got up early every day and spent the time at the beautiful beach, on long walks along the beach promenade, eating delicious food and of course enjoying each other's individuality. It was also the most important thing now that it was actually our first holiday together! It's always exciting - luckily it was so pleasant.

The first shoulder bag

I had the first sample of the black leather bag with me on holiday. And a black shoulder bag was just perfect for such a holiday. As the bag is stylish and fits all outfits, there was no bag crisis in the evening. There was therefore no doubt that this new MicMic crossbody bag should be named after the summer's best holiday.
In addition, I can really warmly recommend the area for a little impulsive holiday. It was really nice - maybe you should bring the Cala Millor shoulder bag?
