The bag is sewn in a small workshop in the center of Ethiopia's capital, Addis Ababa.
The workshop is owned by two Ethiopian sisters who take great social responsibility. The employees are mainly uneducated, vulnerable women. Nevertheless, they receive salaries 100% above the industry average, enabling them to live a comfortable life.
Fair conditions like this will, in the long term, reduce poverty, child labour, exploitation, crime, and not least ensure better health for the employees and their families. In addition, 1%'s sales in their own design store go to the Zewdity Meshesha Charity. This is an organization that helps children living in extreme poverty.

Leather & patina: This bag is made of personality-filled leather. This means that the bag's surface and appearance will change over time.
It is normal for the bag to get marks and patina when you start using it – this is a desired and natural effect and exactly what makes your bag special.
The color will not change, but the shade may change a little.
When this type of leather is tanned, the most beautiful hides are selected. This is because the finish is done with wax instead of covering pigments, paints and topcoats that are usually used to cover damage on lower quality hides.
Care: To protect the product against unwanted stains and create a more dirt-repellent product, you can advantageously impregnate the bag.
If the bag seems dry or if you want to reduce the number of scratches, you can care for the bag with leather grease and let it dry well (so that the grease does not rub off on clothes).
NOTE: Impregnation can give the leather a smoother feel, and grease can change the color of the leather. Always test on an inconspicuous area first.

Black shoulder bag and crossover bag - about the name
Most of my styles are named after foreign areas or cities, but the Elba bag is named after the road I live on.Although I like to travel, learn about new cultures and meet new people, I also like my little apartment on Amager incredibly much.
My amager adventure
My Amager adventure started when I moved to a dormitory right next to the beautiful Amager and Kalvebod community. Besides the fact that I absolutely loved the idyllic surroundings, it was also at this college that I laid the foundation stones for MicMic – I set up the company, designed the first styles and created my first website. It was also here that I got my first delivery, and even though it wasn't very big, the 5 cardboard boxes filled the floor space I had in my room! Later I moved into an apartment closer to Amager Strandpark – the 4 km long artificial beach.I love that Amager offers everything from cafes and shopping to scenic areas and beautiful beaches. The Danes are opening their eyes to the beautiful island, but this has certainly not always been the case.
The history of the island
In the years 1515-1521, King Christian II invited the Dutch to Denmark to develop Danish agriculture. They were housed in the uninhabited Amager - in Dragør - to supply the Danes and the court with dairy products and vegetables, and they also received a number of financial benefits.Since the 19th century, Amager has also struggled with the term "shit island", which still hangs around to this day. The term originates from the time when Copenhagen's latrine pails were picked up in a horse-drawn cart and dumped on Amager.
But in the 20th century, Copenhagen began to spread on Amager, and since the 1990s there has been a rapid development on the island. Many new and recreational areas have been built such as. the modern "Ørestaden" and the ski slope "CopenHill".
I am sure that Amager will only get a higher price in the future, and there is nothing to say about that!
